What's the booking procedure?
Details I need from you include a date, times, venue and the sort of live music you would like. I will give you a quote and when that's agreed I will forward a short contract to confirm all the details for your approval. If you're not sure of anything give me your best guess and we can confirm nearer the date.
How much does it cost?
Please contact me for a quote. The cost depends on the distance travelled, when we can set up, how long we play for, how late we finish and any original requests where written music isn't easily available. If you're on a tight budget tell me what you can spend and I'll tell you what's possible. If I can't help you I may be able to direct you to someone who can.
Do you do requests?
If there is a song that you would really like to have played then please let me know as soon as possible and at least a two weeks BEFORE the event. I can usually arrange almost any music for guitar if you have an original suggestion.
Do you bring all your own equipment?
Yes, we bring all the instruments and amplification. We just need a standard domestic 13Amp power supply.
How long do you play for?
As long or as short as you want, but typically two or sometimes three sets of 45 minutes with breaks in between. We can play for up to an hour before we need a short break and can provide pre-recorded background music in any breaks.
Will you play outside?
Generally this is fine as long as we’re protected from any adverse weather (including hot sun) - a small gazebo, awning or parsols are usually fine.
How far will you travel?
I'm based in Bath in the West Country and will usually travel up to around 80 miles. The further we have to travel the more we will charge.
Are you insured? Yes I have Public Liability Insurance and any electrical equipment will be certified to PAT (portable appliance testing) regulations.
